Designer Tip: Mark and punch (using the second smallest setting on the leather punch) three holes on each end of the leather 1/8 inch, inch, and 7/8 inch from the end. Fold one end of the leather over the key ring and line up with the end. Mark and punch the holes, using the first set of holes as a template. Line up all three sets of holes and set the three 6mm rivets.
