Designer Tip: Cut the chain in half. Cut off about 10 inches of leather; fold the remaining leather in half and tie an overhand knot so the loop just just fits over the button. Thread the top link of one section of chain on one side the leather, thread the second section on the other side. String the Bayong saucers on the reserved section of leather; tie an overhand knot at each end. Start the weave: thread one side of the leather through the next link of each chain segment; repeat with the other end of the leather but in the opposite direction. It is helpful to use the Knotty-Do-It-All Board or other method to secure the ring while weaving the bracelet. Position the beaded leather strand between the chain so it is set between the two strands of 2mm leather. Leave enough space to accommodate the width of the bead. Continue to weave, positioning one strand of 1mm leather under the beaded leather and the other strand over it and pushing a bead up between the two sides of the weaving as you work. FINISH: Thread one side of the leather up, tTie a knot in the beaded leather flush with the last row of weaving. Trim the beaded leather flush with the knot and glue. Add the button: Complete one row of weaving, threading the leather through the button when weaving in both directions. Cut off any extra links. Bring the weaving strands through the last open hole in the chain; glue and trim flush with the link.
