Designer Tip: Cut the 1.5mm leather in half. Glue one end of the leather sections into the clasp: Add approximately 3 drops of glue into one end of the clasp. Use chain nose pliers to slightly flatten one end of the 3mm leather. Hold the flat leather pieces side by side and position the 3mm leather right above and centered on the flat sections. Apply a small amount of glue to the leather ends and insert into the clasp: The 3mm leather will serve to help hold the flat pieces in place. Allow to sit for about 30 seconds. Apply a small amount of glue to the two sections of 1.5mm leather and insert them into the clasp on one side of the 3mm leather (and above the flat leather); add the 2mm leather on the other side of the 3mm leather. Add the 4mm jump rings to the 3mm leather, add the tube to the 2 strands of 1.5mm leather, and add the washers to the 2mm leather. Check the size and trim the leather if needed to ensure a good fit before gluing the other side of the leather into the clasp.(NOTE that the round leather strands on the outside of the bracelet will need to be about inch longer than the flat strands on the inside.) Adjust the jump rings and tube slide as desired; the washers will move freely on the 2mm leather.
