Designer Tip:Cut 5mm leather in half. Slide one slide over both pieces of leather, twist the leather once, and slide on second slide. Repeat 3 more times, ensuring that the twist is in the same direction each time. Adjust the slides so they are evenly spaced. Glue the 20mm leather into one side of the clasp. Trim the ends on one side of the 5mm strands and glue to 20mm leather so they are flush with the clasp. Check fit, trim 20mm leather if needed, and glue into other side of the clasp. With the clasp closed, trim the 5mm strands on the second side so they are flush with the clasp and glue. Note: the outside strands will be slightly longer than the inside.
