Designer Tip: Lay the 2 sections of leather next to each other and form a inch loop around the shackle clasp. Use 4 inches of the .5mm leather to form a 9-10 wrap coil knot around all four thicknesses of the leather. Trim all leather tails flush with the coil knot and secure with a small amount of glue. Check the length of the bracelet: This is a triple wrap design: determine if it will be necessary to trim the 5mm and 2mm leather segments to ensure a good fit. Form another inch loop at the other end; secure with a coil knot as above. Use a 4mm jump ring to attach the chain to the clasp pin; attach the second 4mm jump ring to the other end of the chain. Use the 6mm jump ring to attach the 4mm jump ring to the loop of the shackle clasp closest to the hole where the pin is inserted. NOTE: It may be necessary to trim the hair on the 5mm cord around either or both of the loops if it is sticking up around the curve.
