Designer Tip: Cut 2 links off the chain. Find the middle of the remaining length of chain and attach the 2-link segment with a 6mm jump ring. Cut the leaf chain into 4-8 3-link segments; save leaves that come off chain as a link is cut. Thread each of the wood, horn, and sea glass beads onto a head pin and form a simple loop at the top. Thread each of the bird beads onto an eye pin and form a sample loop at the top. Open the loop of an eye pin and add a horn dangle, the middle link of a 3-link segment of leaf chain, and a sea glass dangle; close. Repeat for second bird dangle. Large Clusters: open a 4 mm jump ring; add a horn dangle, the middle link of a 3-link segment of leaf chain, and a sea glass dangle; close. Repeat 1-3 more times. Small Clusters: open a 4mm jump ring; add a single leaf, a horn dangle, a sea glass dangle, and another leaf; close. Repeat 1-3 more times. ASSEMBLY: Attach a bird dangle to the bottom link of the 2-link chain segment at the middle of the necklace. Attach the second bird dangle on the link just above the center link. Attach large clusters to the 6mm jump ring at the center of the necklace and to the link just above the center link. Add large and small clusters as desired, using the small clusters towards the back of the necklace. Add additional single bead dangles as desired. Use a 6mm jump ring to attach the lobster clasp to one end of the chain; attach an 8mm jump ring to the other end of the chain. HINT: Place the necklace on a neck display when adding dangles to best see where each dangle will lie.Helpful Video Tutorial:Click here to Watch Simple Looping Techniques For Jewelry Making and Click here to Watch Wirework 101 Basics Techniques for Jewelry Making
